Welcome to Cape Coliving! By booking with us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions, designed to foster a harmonious community and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.


1. Application Process

To join our community, you must:

  • Complete the online application form.
  • Participate in a brief interview to ensure compatibility with our values of collaboration, positivity, and respect.

We reserve the right to decline applications that do not align with the spirit of our community.


2. Fees and Payments

  • Booking Fee: 50% of the total accommodation cost is due upon booking. The remaining 50% is due one month before your arrival.
  • Breakage Deposit: A refundable deposit of €300 is required upon arrival and will be refunded within two weeks of departure, subject to any deductions for damages.
  • Extra Guest Fee: Additional guests are permitted for €15 per person per day or €400 per month.
  • Payment Processing Fee: 2% – 6% Processing fees are not charged to the customer, unless cancellation and a refund needs to be processed.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before arrival: 100% refund of the total accommodation paid.
  • Cancellations made 15–30 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total accommodation paid.
  • Cancellations made 7–14 days before arrival: 25% refund of the total accommodation paid.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival: No refund.
*Payment processing fees are not reimbursed or covered by Cape Colviing.

4. Community Priorities

At Cape Coliving, community is our cornerstone. By staying here, you agree to:

  • Actively participate in community events, such as weekly dinners, family meetings, and workshops.
  • Contribute to a positive, drama-free environment. Negative behavior, including gossip or divisiveness, is not tolerated.
  • Respect shared spaces and other residents’ privacy.

5. Use of Photos and Content

By sharing photos in our WhatsApp group or tagging Cape Coliving on social media, you grant us the right to use these images for promotional purposes. This includes sharing on our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.


6. Pets

We are not pet-friendly at this time. Please contact us in advance if you have any specific needs regarding pets.


7. Maintenance and Facility Use

  • Maintenance Requests: Notify our Resident Happiness Coordinator of any issues. We aim to resolve maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Laundry Facilities: Residents have access to on-site washing machines and dryers for personal use.

8. Guests and Visitors

  • Guests must be approved by management to ensure communal space remains comfortable for all.
  • Communicate in advance if you plan to host a spouse, partner, or friend.
  • Additional fees apply (see Section 2).

9. Liability and Damages

  • Residents are responsible for maintaining their rooms and shared spaces in good condition.
  • Deductions from the breakage deposit may occur for damages or excessive cleaning needs.

10. Check-In, Check-Out, and Early Access

  • Standard check-in and check-out times apply.
  • Early check-in or late check-out requests may be accommodated, subject to availability and additional charges.

11. Termination of Stay

Cape Coliving reserves the right to terminate a resident’s stay if they fail to adhere to these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or disrupt the community environment.
